Amanda & Kevin’s wedding | Lake Mary Events Center

Amanda and Kevin are so stinkin sweet, seriously true southern sweets!  Amanda and Kevin met on a cruise going to the Bahamas. Amanda saw him dancing with a 90 year old woman and approached him to find out if he was dancing with his grandma. Kevin said no, he had just met that lady in the elevator and she was looking for someone to dance with her, so he offered. At that moment she knew he was the one! They talked all night and Kevin told her he was actually seeing someone back home.  They left the boat without exchanging phone numbers, or email addresses. Amanda was crushed, she never thought we would see each other again. About a week later she received a friend request from him on Facebook. He had searched through all the Amanda Hamilton’s and was only able to find her because she had told him about going to Chicago for a Cubs game, and there she stood in a picture at Wrigley Park. He said that he had called it off with the person he was dating, because he couldn’t stop thinking about Amanda . No doubt in my mind, it was meant to be!

I die….. these shoes are amazing! Yes, I know another shoe shot…. I just can’t get enough.

Amanda put a six pence in her shoe, which is said to bring good luck  and safety for the couple on their wedding day.I absolutely  L-O-V-E the first look! I get so excited whenever any of my couples decide to do this, not only is it a great chance for them to spend a few minutes together before all of the guests arrive, but it always helps calm the nerves. Amanda and Kevin had the sweetest first look, I love these shots of them, they both look so in love.Amanda’s dress is gorgeous, and the cap sleeve was stunning!Amanda had tons of milk glass, lace, pearls and other vintage details on all of the tables. Amanda & Kevin | Downtown Winter Garden | Engagement session

Holy cow, it has been weeks since I have blogged! I am so blessed to be busy and meeting so many amazing couples. I have been having a blast. I absolutely love this couple, this is the first part of my session with Amanda & Kevin. We hit downtown Winter Garden, a charming little town with such cool architecture and so many cute little shops.  I  had so much fun with these two, I can’t wait for your September wedding!

Amanda & Kevin | Orange grove engagement | Florida

This has to be one of my favorite engagement sessions ever.  Amanda and I met on a rainy afternoon at Starbucks,  we talked about where she wanted to do her and her fiancé Kevin’s engagement session and she mentioned to me that they were thinking about  an orange grove session, I almost died!  This has been a dream of mine, 1. because my last name is Orrange and 2. I love orange groves, they remind me of when I was younger . I lived on property that had an orange grove that I would play hide and seek with my cousins, truly a magical time of my life. We started the session at Amanda’s friend and Maid of honor’s family grove, it is 2000 acres of land with orange groves and a cute little storefront that sells honey  and citrus fruit. We walked through the grove and all of the orange blossoms were in bloom it smelled divine, good enough to eat. The light was a magical shade of honey and gold a photographers dream, and it really was a great time. I absolutely love when my clients give me creative freedom, an artists dream!  Amanda and Kevin thanks so much for making one of my dreams come true, I cannot wait until your wedding . XOXO ~ Amalie

Matt & Maureen Engagement Session | Kraft Azalea Gardens | Winter Park Florida

I had such a great time with Matt & Maureen on their engagement session! We met up at Kraft Azalea Gardens and did some creative shots. I was a perfect Florida day, about 65 degrees and sunny. We took a quick Starbucks break and then headed over to Hannibal Square in Winter Park for a few more shots. I am in love with the picture of Maureen hanging out the second story window, brave girl! I am so excited and honored  to be shooting their wedding in October.
